Francisco Tebar, born in Madrid 23th October 1969. Son of the prestigious juggler El Gran Picaso. He grows far away from the show life in Quartell going to the University of Economics in Valencia Spain, obtaining a major degree. While doing his military duty in a Spanish city Melilla located north of Africa, the visit of a small circus captivates his attention and he goes back to the juggling he learned as a kid with his father and starts to practice 5 to 6 hours daily.
The 5th May 1996 he performs for the first time of his life at the Benidorm Palace showroom as a replacement of two days wich became a one and a half year contract. January 1997 he performs his act at the prestigious Festival du Cirque de Demain in Paris obtaining the Bronze medal price. January 1998 he performs at the Budapest Festival where he is observed by Tim Holst from Ringling Bros American circus and hires him for a two year tour in USA with the Barnum’s Kaleidoscape tour (1999-2000).
Back in Europe he works at the Lido of Paris and at the most prestigious, European variety rooms such as: TigerPalast Frankfurt, Wintergarten Berlin, Apollo Dusseldorf and Friedrichsbau Stuttgart.
The circus seasons: Circus Scott Sweden (2001). Cirkus Krone and Circus Knie in Switzerland (2003), Big Apple circus in New York (2004-2005) (2009-2010). Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione Paris (2005-2006). He performed with the Circus Roncalli in Germany (2006-2007). Cirkus Arena Denmark (2008-2012). He also performed in 2013 at Zirkus Nemo in Denmark with the famous Danish comedian Soren Ostergaard. Currently he is performing at Cirkus Krone in Germany.
We must make a special mention to the Silver Clown conquered at the prestigious Festival du cirque de Monte Carlo 2002. Gold and jury price at the IV Praga circus festival 2013, Golden Orange at the festival of Valencia 2012 and la Piste d’Or at the Circus Festival of Massy in 2014.
